PRESIDENTS' MESSAGE,
The Hiels' and Goodins' did a great job on the camp out at Alpine, Richard and Ondina did the arrangements and
reservations, they were assisted by Betty and Rich who helped plan the activities and did the back up work.
They all did a great job, it was a great camp out.
We will have a complete report in the New Letter and/or Web Page. I do want to
mention the lovely chapel where we attended Mass. We were a large part of the congregation
even if you counted the dogs that some of the parishioners brought to Mass. The priest was
very friendly, wanted to know who we were and where each of us lived. During his homily
(Pentecost Sunday), he was saying that each of us should be spreading the Word since we
have been touched by the Holy Spirit, he said "These Roamin Catholics they ride their
motor cycles, he was quickly corrected to motor homes not motor cycles. I figured the
average of the men was 77 so we probably aren't cycle material.
I am not sure how many of our members are still ill, I do know Richard Hiel is still
recovering from his stroke. Chuck Hogue has been seriously ill, also Georgia Howard.
Keep all of these members in your prayers,
God Bless,
Helen White
