President's Message - January 2008

The Indio FMCA Rally was a great way to start 2008. We were a bit worried for a while about getting a priest for our Saturday mass. However with the help of the good Lord, Ben and Donna Avila, retiring President Helen White and lots of prayers we were blessed with Father Jack McGinnis to lead us in the Eucharist.

It's going to take a while to figure out our new job of President of the Roamin' Catholics. We intend to do our best, but if we make a mistake just gently turn us around and head us in the right direction.

A big thank you to our retiring officers Helen White, President, and Betty Goodin Sec./Tres. You have done a wonderful job. We look forward to working with Rita Edson our new Sec/Treas and Ben Avila, Vice President, as we get started with our new position.
