President's Message - July 7, 2004
We had our first camp out June 4-6th at East Shore RV Park in San Dimas. We had 6 rigs which included
all of the officers. We arrived on Friday had hors d' ouevrs at the club house and spent the evening
getting aquatinted. I am sure the consensus was that we are a varied and compatible group. Saturday we
went to 5:00pm Mass at Mary Mother of God Church, they acknowledge all visitors and greeted us warmly.
They will have a beautiful new church the first of July. We had dinner at a local restaurant and again
spent time getting aquatinted. Goodins left early Sunday because of mechanical problems, they returned
home instead of continuing on to their summer home in Michigan. Hopefully they were only delayed a day
or so. The rest of us had breakfast and more visiting on Sunday morning and left at various times before
2 o'clock.
We hopefully can do this again possibly in October of November and have it planned far enough
in advance that more can attend. Any volunteers would be appreciated. Some of us will be in Redmond and
will get together but we have no definite plans at this time. We will be there on the 13th parked in the
National Directors area, we have a '99 Southwind, we will have our placard in the window. If we can
arrange something definite before leaving July 16th I will let you know. All of you have a safe and
blessed summer.
