OREGON TRAIL DRIVERS – Scope Oregon

Oregon Trail Drivers is affiliated with the Family Motor Coach Association and our sphere of travel is primarily in the Willamette Valley of Oregon.  The only requirement o joining our group is to be a member of FMCA in good standing and want to have a good time and make new friends as you travel around the state in your motorhome.  We have eight rallies a year, starting in April and ending in November and our rallies are usually the second weekend of the month.  Our member coaches range from fully equipped vans to 40 foot buses.  We have rallied at the beautiful Oregon coast, central Oregon, the Columbia Gorge, the Rogue River . . . . And that is just a sampling of our travels.  Every year we have some old favorites that we revisit along with new and exciting places!  Each year our Wagonmaster finds more and more wonderful sites for us to rally!

You may ask, what we do at a weekend rally.  Usually the members begin arriving on Friday afternoon and members spend the afternoon visiting and getting caught up with each other.  There is usually a group activity on Friday evening, either finger foods, socializing, evening meal, etc., and sometimes card games afterwards.  Saturday usually dawns with the coffeepot on in the recreation room but breakfast on your own and then various activities throughout the day, depending upon the location and what area activities are available for the members to enjoy.  Saturday evening might bring a potluck meal with everyone bringing one item to be enjoyed by the group and then more visiting and games in the evening.  Sunday morning before beginning to return home we usually have hot coffee, pastries and a fruit bowl with more visiting and then people begin to leave and go their separate ways.  Come and join us for a weekend and we will make you welcome!

If you decide to join the group, dues are minimal.  The initiation fee is $35 and this includes two badges.  Thereafter, the dues are $15 per year.  Visitors are welcome at any rally and the rallies are advertised in the FMCA Magazine with pertinent information regarding reservation information.  Contact an officer for more information:
