DJ ENGINE OIL COOLER LINES  KIT

Replace those leaky, stiff lines that run from the oil filter adapter to the radiator under the hot exhaust manifold.  This kit contains 2 flexible Teflon hoses with Stainless wire braid shields.  It also contains the necessary fittings and extra length to run the lines to the frame and up to the radiator avoiding the heat from the exhaust manifold.

Specifications:

Max Working Pressure - 2,000 lb.

Min Burst Pressure - 8000 lb.

Service Temperature Range - -100 deg to +450 deg.

Also makes changing the gasket in the oil filter adaptor much easier.  Once these are installed it is one thing you can forget.  Can be adapted for an Oil Temperature Gauge.  Installs in about 3 hours.

Cost $160 plus shipping.

DJ RE-BUILT DRIVE AXLES

Got a front end shimmy under acceleration.  Had the tires balanced several times.  Lift the engine cover and accelerate.  If the engine shimmies, you probably have a bad inner CV Joint.  Most cost effective fix is a re-built drive axle.  These Drive axles have re-furbished or new inner CV Joints and new outer CV Joints.  Kit also includes new Spindle cotter pin, Axle Flange bolts and hi-collar washers.

Cost $300 per side plus shipping.

$350 core charge unless you send me your old core quality (can be re-built) drive axle before I ship.

DJ REBUILT FRONT CONTROL ARMS

Next time you have the front of your coach jacked up, check out the rubber bushings at the ends of the control arms.  Chances are these were installed at the factory.  Now with the coach still in the air and the engine idling have your wife/navigator/assistant sit in the driver seat with their foot hard on the brake, Shift from park to reverse to neutral to drive and back.  See how much the front suspension moves around.  If it moves and does not snap back, you probably need to replace the bushings.

These rebuilt front suspension control arms have been stripped, sandblasted and inspected for cracks.  All the spot welds on the strong points are completed.  Then they are powder coated.

The following new parts are installed:

upper and lower ball joints

upper and lower control arm bushings

upper control arm adjusters

Cost $1400 for a complete set of 4 plus shipping.

$200 core charge or send me core quality (can be re-built) before I ship.

DJ POWDER COATED ACCESSORIES.

Send me your poor, your tired, your rusty and I will make them like new again.

Improve the looks of your engine.  Protects the metal far better than painting and it makes it a lot easier to keep things clean.  All parts are sand blasted and powder coated.Parts shown in the picture are removed during an engine overhaul:

Fan, Water Pump Pulley,  Crank Shaft Pulley, 3 Air Conditioning Brackets Power Steering Pump Bracket,

(I will do both if you want to go to the trouble of removing the one on the pump)

All Alternator Brackets and Spacer, Transmission Dip Stick Tube,  Front Motor Mount Bracket, Bell Housing Dust Shield,

Final Drive to Engine Brackets, Thermostat Housing,

All this for $150 plus shipping.

Other parts can be done.  Call or e-mail for a quote.

RE-BUILT HUBS AND KNUCKLES

These Hubs and Knuckles have been sand blasted and the imperfections are machined away.  They are then placed in an industrial chrome bath.  When a sufficient amount of chrome has built up in the bearing areas they are re-ground to aircraft tolerances which give a good press fit for the bearings onto the hub and a snug tap fit into the knuckle.

Short explanation on what this process provides.  These metal parts are measured on the Rockwell Hardness Scale.  The following is a breakdown for these parts:

 New Knuckles-----------45.

New Hubs----------------50.

Chrome Surface--------70.

Timken Bearings-------60.

Because of the hard surface and the precise, snug fit grinding the bearings are not allowed to move around at all.

 Options:

 Re-built set of Hubs & Knuckles--$1050.00.

Core Charge $500 unless you send me your core quality set before I ship.

The hub must be removed from the knuckle.

Add a set of Timken Bearings & Seals  ----$225.00.

I can pack the bearings with Chevron Extreme Pressure Grease-$15.00.

Add a new set of Brake Rotors---$203.00.

Add a set of Grade 8 Bolts & Lock Washers and Cotter Pins-$7.00.

The Seal Retainer Bolts are slotted on the thread end for easy installation.

I can assemble the Rotor, Seals & Bearings onto the hub  $35.00.

You would have to send me the Seal Retainer.

I can assemble the hub onto the knuckle--$35.00.

Not my preferred method for installing H&K but some say it is easier.  You must be careful not to damage the inner seal.

Then add shipping of course which seems to go up every day.
