Delicious in hot coffee, over ice & cream, or ice cream!

Decorate a bottle any festive way you like or make you own label for gifting!

 

4 cups granulated sugar

2 cups water, boiling

2 ounces instant coffee

1 whole vanilla bean, cut into 4 pieces

1 fifth of brandy or 100 proof vodka

 

Directions:

Stir the sugar & coffee in a bowl & add the boiling water & stir until the sugar is totally dissolved.  Cool & pour into ½ gallon jar or bottle.  Add pieces of vanilla beans.  Pour in the brandy or vodka.  Seal bottle with a lid or a cork.  Age at least 30 days in a cool dark place.  Rebottle into smaller bottles for gift giving.  I always use a funnel for filling any size bottle.  Seal & decorate the bottle for gifting.
