BREAKFAST MONKEY RING WITH CHEESE & BACON

This is an ideal dish for the potluck breakfast or coffee hour or brunch!

 

9-12 slices of your favorite bacon, cooked & crumbled (or use a 3 ounce can of real bacon bits)

½ cup grated parmesan cheese

1 cup grated cheddar cheese (I use the cheese already grated as it is finer)

¼  chopped sweet onion, Walla Walla  etc.

3 cans refrigerated buttermilk biscuits

½ cup butter, melted

 

Directions:

Combine the first four ingredients & set aside.  Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.  Prepare a bundt pan with spray.  Cut the biscuits in half & dip each piece in butter & layer 1/3 of the biscuits in the prepared pan.  Sprinkle with half of the bacon/cheese mixture.  Repeat the layers, ending with the biscuit pieces.  Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until golden brown.  Cool 10 minutes in the pan.  Then invert on a serving platter & serve immediately.  I serve it sliced with my favorite freezer jam!  The guys even like it for snacking while watching the football games!  Enjoy!
